The sock selection process took me months. Choosing the right sox means deciding on material composition, thickness, shape, size, height, supportive functions such as compression, etc. - and then test the short list on long walks. The grand final took place between German producer Falke vs Swiss producer Rohner. Rohner's Treck'n travel clearly made the race. The sock caused a minimum of blisters and pressure points compared with all other benchmarks. Walking the 14 hours from Zurich to Basel I ended up with with no blisters (disclaimer: including a preventive plasters on each heel). The sock's composition is: 34% Polyamide, 28% Cotton, 25% Polypropylene, 12% SeaCell Active, 1% Elasthan (Lycra).
